Privately and through School Kitchen (Dutch homework institute) Teaching assistant at a secondary school in Amsterdam Horsemanship instructor (educating horses and humans) 1 year as violin teacher in Amsterdam, teaching to play by ear yearly weekend workshop teaching folk music on the violin to children ages 8-12 completed a TESOL module at York St. John University MA in Education, including modules: Arts in Education, Psychology of the Learner, Enhancing Teaching and Learning through Fostering Productive Thought. MA dissertation title: Awakening the artist in the Learner: Creative and critical learning through poetry in secondary schools. As you can see, teaching and learning is a great part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it. It is so rewarding to see how pupils improve their English skills and knowledge, and to see their growing enthusiasm in a language which before they might have found "boring". I enjoy solving problems in an interactive way. I am deeply motivated to help learners of any age improve in many aspects of the English language. I enjoy working with children and adults of all ages, and have gained so much knowledge from meeting such interesting people from around the world.
